Brown Butter Green Beans with Garlic Almond Bread Crumbs

  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided

  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • lemon zest

  • 1 can (28 oz.) Libby's Jumbo-Can Cut Green Beans, drained


1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet over medium. Add almonds, breadcrumbs, garlic and lemon zest; stir and cook 1 minute. Remove from pan and let cool.

2. Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to skillet; let melt and brown. Once butter is brown, add green beans and toss to coat.  Add breadcrumb mixture and stir. Remove to serving dish. Top with more lemon zest.
