Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 can (29 oz.) Libby's Family Size Sweet Peas, drained

  • 1 cup french fried onions

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 375°F. Coat a baking dish with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
  3. Whisk in broth, cook 8 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in sour cream, onion powder, salt and pepper. Gently fold in peas.
  5. Transfer to prepared dish. Top with onions. Bake 20 minutes until top is golden.
